Winter Work Inspired Stylings

I love the winter sometimes. Not all the time, I mean the cold weather can be a bitch but some of the most beautiful clothes come out during the winter. I got really inspired last week and created three looks that you can see below. One scarf in look 3 is no longer available on the store it came from, so I apologize. Let me know what you think of them in the comments.

Falling for Fresh Fall Style!

Hey everyone, I created three new looks for fall from amazing stores such as Gap.com, H&M, DSW, and JCP. The first look is a casual look. I'm in business school so I was looking to create a fresh look that could also double as business casual. So I started the look with a shirt from Gap. The navy color is beautiful for fall and I really wanted to incorporate it into the first look. And as you can see, I did a major splurge with the suede boots. But honestly, they look really good with the outfit. All you need is a brown boot and the outfit will work regardless.

In Look 2, I was definitely aiming for something a little more flirty. And because there are still warm days in fall, I added a floral print skirt from JCP and a cream sweater top from H&M. What I really love most is the leather bag. It's such a good bag for school and the color is perfect, in my opinion. The blue from the bag and the purple shade from the skirt really complement each other. The metallic pump was just an idea. I think any metallic loafer would work in it's place.

A Closetful of Sunshine

Found a few items online that I really liked and so I created two looks for the casual summer days. I think they are both very versatile in the sense that the pieces from the first look could translate very easily into a work outfit such as the red tank and khakis. As for the second look, the mint green dress works well for a casual night out. My favorite look has to be the second one however. It's fun and young and is great for college girls. And if paired with a cardigan, I think the mint green dress could also work for early fall. The bag is strictly a Spring/Summer piece but a simple satchel is always good to have in your closet. I think my favorite thing from the look, however, has to be the glasses. They're made by this company called Proof. They're really cool, they're made from wood, and they can customized for your prescription if you have one.

Things to Wear During the Summer Daze

Here, I created two summer looks; both of which are suited for a day out with friends. I wanted to use white as the base color of both looks and chose the tank from Forever 21 and the Free People dress from Shopbop.com. For the first look, I chose a bright yellow bag from Target to give some color to the otherwise neutral look. The simplicity of the jewelry pieces I chose adds a touch of romanticism to the outfit I think and the wedges were just too killer to pass up.

For the second look, I wanted to create an outfit for those not so hot days. The cardigan is thin so it provides a nice compliment to the dress. The dress is by far the show stopper of the whole look. When I saw the peek-a-boo glimpses of red underneath, it really took my breath away. Like the previous outfit, I chose tan wedges from the Gap and gold jewelry from Max&Chloe and H&M.
